Bienvenidos (Welcome)

Hola Readers,

My name is Danielle Ernst, I am a native Coloradan. I am currently studying Financial Management here at CU Denver. I love to travel, however I have not been to many other countries. Costa Rica was my first solo escapade with my Spanish Club in high school. 

So this is where our journey begins. In the next couple of months I will be opening your eyes to the beautifully, diverse country of Costa Rica. Costa Rica meaning "Rich Coast" has a wide variety of terrestrial biomes ranging from prairies to rain forests.

Costa Rica is an interesting country with so much to offer geographically. I chose this country because I have personally explored and seen first hand everything that this country offers. I hope to show all of you through my own personal photos, stories, and information that I learn what Costa Rica is all about. 

Our journey begins in my next blog, and we start in San Jose, Costa Rica.
